Umpiring

​

Netball wouldn’t run without umpires – and we are always on the look out for umpires at all levels! To enquire about umpiring opportunities and development pathways, please contact us at umpires.hornsbylions@gmail.com

Volunteering - Teams

​

ALL club members 18 years and over who will have direct contact with children are required to undertake a Working With Children Check. This will include Committee Members, Coaches, Co-coaches and Managers.

Coach

​

Are you keen to provide guidance and development for young netballers? Do you enjoy having fun with younger players passing on skills and enthusiasm for the game. Coaching is an extremely rewarding opportunity and if you are looking to get involved with netball this is a great option!

 

Manager

​

Are you organised and able to assist the coach getting the team organised before and during the games. Be willing to help to score during the game (Some teams rotate this around parents). Managing emails that come from the club secretary (and others) as required and keep your team if the games have been washed out.
